Why would anyone be offended that a company, that prides itself on religious beliefs, would not be supportive of gay rights? It is a private company, the ownership can feel however they want to feel, and support whatever they choose to support. I also hate the fact that they are not open on Sundays, however, I applaud them for it.

Personally, I could care less what Dan Cathy thinks about anything. Gay anything doesn't bother me.
The author of the article may be a public relations expert, but Dan Cathy has proven to be a decent businessman while bucking trends. Sunday is a major revenue day, especially in the Mall outlets, yet his beliefs override his desire for profit. He knows what he wants his business to represent, regardless of the public relations. I doubt any losses over this issue will bother him, either. I hope Mark Pettit isn't holding his breath, because I don't think his apology will ever materialize from Dan's lips.

I support Dan 100%! Not because I'm anti gay, but because I am sick and tired of political correctness and the garbage that comes with it. Times........... they are ah changed.
Let's see if his business goes under. NOBODY says what they really think anymore. The repercussions are to great. Sad.

Closed on Sundays? No big deal. We've been to a few different locations, including WI, IN, IL, TN, OH, KY, etc. Always plenty of customers at each location.

I respect and admire his decision, they may loose the Bowl game, but I don't think his business will suffer, as a matter of fact I think his business will increase.

I go to Chickfila almost daily (not on Sundays). Great food, great service. The best employee at the store is a gay guy. I will be back in the morning as usual.

I eat Chick-Fil-A 4 out of the 5 work days in a week, no lie. I'm not certain what stance Dan Cathy or any Chick-Fil-A exec could take that would make me stop eating there.

I'm 100% pro gay rights. I am also 100% freedom to hold and express one's own beliefs, with the caveat that they don't harm others. In this case, CF isn't denying either service or jobs to gays. There is no injustice in their business practice. What a business owner's personal beliefs are, they're no concern of mine. I will still partake of the yummiest chicken sandwich and the waffle fries. I believe tolerance is a two way street. He has done nothing to infringe on the rights of gays, nor displayed intolerance. I don't agree with him, but he's certainly not done anything to warrant a boycott or deliberate attempt to harm his livelihood.
