Calling the Highlands baseball team "Dirty Birds" is a GROSS understatement

I'll never understand males and their penchant for potty "humor".

How many kids in total are involved? Any idea? I can not imagine a group of them sitting around, saying 'Lets have some fun. I know. We can all pee in this bottle, and then squirt it on so and so...' I would hope out of a group one would stand up and say 'No' It must not have been but a couple I would think. Although yesterday's thread left me the impression there were more than a few involved.

If they try I like Guru's response.

The one that stood up and said "NO" is probably the one that got pee squirted on them.

Someone very close to the situation told me (he has be led to believe) this is not the first incident the victim has endured.

If that is true, kicked off the team and a school suspension are the minimum.

Thanks, if that's the case it's a very easy decision in my mind. If you're anti bullying and something this disgusting happens as part of a series of harassment there shouldn't even be much debate needed.

I am also told the punishments handed down have been very light (the strongest being a 3 day suspension) and there are a lot of unhappy parents about the lack of real punishment given the offense.

If that's the case, heads should definitely roll.

Without knowing any more details than we do now, there are a few non parents also unhappy and embarrassed.

I hope there is some information we do not have access to in this situation but I'm skeptical that it would be enough to warrant a soft penalty.

A gag order must be in place because there are several baseball posters who are staying very far away.

That is flat out unacceptable. I assume that's a school punishment....are all involved still on the team?? Somebody pours urine on my kid, heads will roll one way or the other. It can be the kids, the coach or the administration....you pick via your lack of appropriate response.

I have no problem with that although from responses prior to this thread they felt like strong action was warranted. Has to weigh heavy on those close to the team.
