What do college coaches prefer? Do they still like to see an entire game vs certain highlights? What else other than the game footage should be on the film? THANKS!

I would call the coach and ask him/her. A lot prefer VHS, but I am sure that over time more will like DVD's.
As for what to add, again, ask the coach. I really don't think that a coach would want to sit through a whole game, though.

I take stats for the Louisville Fire, next to me in the press box is the Fire videographer who happens to be U of L's video coordinator. I have asked him this same question:
He says that they often say VHS because of the variety of programs that make dvd's. They often can't play the dvd's they get and they have numerous dvd players and lots of different programs on their pc's. Most of the time the people forget to finalize the disc and that is the root of the problem.
Most of the time coaches want a highlight tape but also want an entire film as well. If they like the highlights then they'll view the game film to see what a player does both good and bad, how other things like stamina and conditioning figure in, if they play in various situation etc..

...send them a highlight VHS tape, with the player at the lead and offering name, height, weight, school, contact info, etc..and than 3-4 minutes of practice or game highlights, than if more is needed the coaches will request.
