Isn't that what Calipari was kind of going through at Memphis with the bolded part. Not taking anything away from what he is trying to establish but when Brian Kelly's dream job comes calling with the Brinks truck he is gone. No one is going to convince me otherwise. Even Calipari has said that whenever the Ky job came open, he would sit by the phone waiting for them to call. What is BK's dream job. I have no clue but I would almost bet he has a top 5. Until then I think UC needs to reap the benefits of having a top notch coach.

I have to agree here. You cannot allow yourself to get to connected to a community, as a college football coach. Kelly turning down a program that he has always wanted to coach (who knows, maybe it's Cincinnati?) is just not the way that College Coaches should conduct their business. It is a business, and you have to conduct it as such.

The 2012 schedule is a National Championship worthy schedule. If they can make it undefeated through that, they should be given the title!

GT, do you know if the Miami game is a series? I would love for the Canes to come up to Bearcat Country. Especially if both programs continue to improve.

It's the last of a two game series from a few years back...

    About what I figured.

It's okay though, I get to see the
pound Ohio State next season in the 'Shoe!!! Okay, I don't have tickets yet, but I think that I would pay a pretty penny to see that. Nothing better than potentially seeing the team you love beat the team you hate the worst (well, besides UF).
