I agree. I bet Tua still wins though.

Same, I’d entertain arguments for Murray, but I still think it’s Tua.

    You’re saying Haskins isn’t a legit candidate?

I didn’t see your list maybe I overlooked it. You said Tua is your pick but you would throw Murray some points. Neither are really even close to 5,000 yard passing and 50 TD’s. Different criteria on BGP for finalist though.

OK... Gardner Minshew is going to be close to 5,000 should he be ahead of Tua and Murray?

Yes, he should be in there. Is it a popularity contest or a statistical contest?

I’m not talking about including Haskins I’m talking about why Tua over Murray? That just makes zero sense to me.

"In there" sure, but he's not winning. I'd say a mixture of both.

It's not just a stats contest to me and for that reason I pick Tua. I can only imagine what Tua would have done against the Big 12. Actually probably less, he might have been sitting out the 3rd and 4th Q of games.

Hurts just showed us that Bama goes 13-0 with him. It should go off stats and what the team would be like without the player.

You must not have actually watched Kyler play. It’s fine. Eye test is similar, stats are in Kylers favor.
