Number has dropped with all of the defensive injuries, if was around 45% to win out last week.

The injuries Bama has suffered are major and I don't think its getting discussed enough nationally. Bama was replacing a lot defensively to start the year and now they are losing more guys. The number should fluctuate a bit after saturday depending on what happens in the UGA/ Auburn game.

I think it will cost them in one of these next games, before they ever get to Georgia.

They'll roll through Miss State IMO. Auburn is tricky because I don't think we know very much about them other than they have some talented players. I'll be able to tell you who will win the SEC Championship after the game this weekend.

If both have only 1 loss, I like UGa > OU

Barring total collapse across the nation, NO 2 loss team is making Final 4.

There are currently 9 P5 + ND teams with 0 or 1 loss. 4 of those teams match up this weekend. Loser of TCU v. OU is out. If ND loses, they are out. If TheU loses, their only hope is win out, beat Clemson in the ACC Champ and be last 1 loss team standing.

Loser of Bama v. UGa could still be a 1 loss team. If that happens, both go, taking 2/4 spots.

Conference championships matter when all else is equal. OU will have more Top 25 wins in the final playoff rankings than UGA in all likelihood as well. The resume would favor OU.

Unless you count Auburn beating Georgia and Alabama as a total collapse I disagree.

What teams control their own destiny? I would imagine that Alabama, Georgia, & Notre Dame control their own destiny. If they win out, they are in.
The scenario that I think will be interesting is if Notre Dame, Clemson, Oklahoma & Wisconsin win out, and the SEC championship game is a close game, who gets in? I personally will love the controversy of it.

I think Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, and Miami, and Auburn are the only teams that truly control their own destiny. Oklahoma, TCU, and Wisconsin in all likelihood do. The rest need a lot of help.

If UCF wins out, would they get in over a 2 loss team? Probably not. Should they? Hmmm. If not, you're basically admitting that only P5+ND have a chance to win NCAAF championship before the season even starts.

What don’t you like about Notre Dame’s resumé?

Would they? No. It won't even be a discussion. Should they? No it shouldn't even be a discussion.

Sorry was typing it out quickly. I would put ND in the class with Oklahoma, TCU, and Wisconsin.

Is it possible for 2 conferences to get 2 teams? Let' say Georgia and Bama win out and play a classic SEC conference championship game. They could both get in. Let's say Miami beats ND (ND is then out), OSU/MSU beats Wisconsin in the Big Ten championship game (no Big 10 team in most likely). Let's say TCU beats OK but then loses the Big 12 title game. Let's say Clemson and Miami win out and play a classic ACC title game. Could the final four be Bama, Georgia, Clemson and Miami? I know there are a lot of "let's say's" above and it is not likely but is it possible...
