What does the depth chart look like for UK next year?
Miles Simpson should be the starting Strong Safety and hopefully Towles will start at QB.

Hopefully PT will red shirt. He'd be a lot better in his fifth year, than a true frosh year.

I agree, but Joker doesn't

They lose 3 OL and Roark from the offense. The defensive line returns virtually everyone from the 2 deep, the big losses are obvious in Trevathan & Guy. They also lose Sneed at LB and 3 DB's from the 2 deep. The good news is that some of the kids who played in the last 2 games looked to be potentially better than some who were playing in front of them.

I would start Towles he is one the top QB's in the country let him show he is the best.

Only because Joker won't be there 5 years from now. I hope PT has great success there, but him playing as a true freshman just is not in his best interest.

As much as Highlands fans have built Towles up he should be an All-American his first year at QB for UK.

True, but that's what troubles me. This staff doesn't seem to be able to judge talent, even on their own depth chart. This was true in a ton of positions this year.

Joker may feel that his job will depend on whether he starts Towles or not. Towles could actually be the difference in a bowl game or not, so he will play.

I think that you are definitely not alone in that belief. I agree w you. I have heard from some reliable people that Joker has shot down the idea. It is a lot to ask a Freshman to take over behind a terrible o line in the SEC and expect him to have instant success. I personally don't like it.

Because of Towles presence... Max Smith becomes another Mike Hartline in the eyes of UK fans.

Top post leads to bottom post. Can't figure you out there my friend. Not that I want to.

Jokers down fall began when he didnt play Mossakoski in the bowl game and let Newton do it all, Newton is the downfall of Joker. Newton is perhaps one of the worst QB's I have ever seen at UK, way worse than even Billy Jack Haskins

Better than Newton, I cant recall in my lifetime who would be worse. Antonio Oferral was pretty good, at least he could run and throw a spiral with accuracy.
Newton IMO is lazy and looks for an injury to keep him out. If my ankle was hurt adn I had a chance to start adn beat TN, then you had better shoot me up with numbing stuff so I can play or pain killers. It dont mean anything to him. I believe Towles wil be better because he is a fan and it means something to him.
