The non-league games do not make many fans want to rush out and get tickets for them.

First time I can remember not having season tickets in our family since 1980!!!! Hopefully UK starts getting the hint that the fans have higher expectations than lip service as far as support for football.

How long before UK starts tying basketball season tickets into football packages?
Will they make basketball season ticket holders start buying a football package, or a football season tickets to keep their basketball seats? I think, but could be wrong, UC did something similar when their basketball team was a big ticket and football team was struggling.
Not the best PR move in the world, but from a marketing standpoint it makes sense. In one sport, demand overwhelms supply. In the other sport supply overwhelms demand. Why not tie the two together?

Honestly I wouldn't go to a UK football game if you paid me. Not shocked people aren't spending their money on a crappy product.

UK returned 2,000 tickets to UL for the game. Couldn't sell them.

I thought about getting season tickets a couple years ago but decided against it. It is always very easy to pickup a couple of tickets prior to the game the 3 or 4 times a year I decide to ride down and make a day of it with my son who attends UK.

They say UK only offered the tickets to season ticket holders and returned all that was left. They didn't even offer them to the public.

So UL gave UK a certain amount of tickets to be sold for $78. UK offered to only season tix holders and returned the rest. Now UL is selling those same tickets for $50? What gives? Many UK fans are claiming they didn't buy them because they were priced to high, yet UL turns around and offers a $28 discount? Wow. Any explanations?

My son says UL always makes a big show of returning UK tickets. He worked in the ticket office for four years while in college at UK. UK would get an allotment and sell them all. They'd get another and sell them. They'd get a third allotment and not sell many and then UL would make a statement about how many they had to return.
Fun and games.

So why didn't UL sell them for $78, like they required UK to do?
