But in fairness, Jumper was speaking of Urban’s record at OSU and so it would be only one title rather than 3.
True but the post/topic is all-time. He was really good at Bowling Green and a star at Utah.

Still his numbers were better at Ohio State only than Tresselís was.

JD you know why. Urban works for Fox and the list was made by ESPN. Urban has been taking shots at ESPN on the fox pregame show all year. Itís not hard to understand why heís so low.

You really think all 150 people on the committee worked together against Urban?

I'm sure there were Ohio State and Urban fans on the committee...everything that goes against a Buckeye isn't due to some great conspiracy.

    I’m not saying it’s anti Ohio State. It’s anti-Urban. Urban’s the competition.

119 of 150 on the panel work for other media not ESPN, are retired coaches or players. The list is available in the original link.

Fox college football is no more than a speck compared to ESPN's coverage and their show that goes against Game Day is no competition. I doubt ESPN gives him that much thought, to hatch a huge plan to rank him low.

I would agree that Urban is low. Three national titles should move him way up that list.

While it shouldn't matter, the guy is a jerk. A lot of people just don't like him. It shouldn't affect their voting, but it does.

    I think you’d be surprised.

That makes more sense than a conspiracy theory that ESPN is out to get him.

There are bigger jerks ahead of Urban who accomplished less...

There probably are, but they are not fresh in everybody's mind. Urban has ticked off a lot of people both in the media and other coaches. Twenty years from now when they look at just accomplishments, his position will change a lot.

I agree with this, Urban Meyer is a villain in the CFB world. No ifs, ands, or buts.

Urban is definitely too low at 46. Doing absolutely zero research, I'd say he should be above Beamer, Swinney and Stoops at least.

Hell, Dabo has been good for what, five years?

Obviously, Urban being that low is completely laughable, and a joke.

Bobby Dodd at #21 with no national titles? A guy named Frank Kush at #43, whose most notable accomplishment is that his team finished #2, and that he got fired for allegations of player abuse.

Another one who's too far down...Don James.

Urban is too low. End of story.

And as as much as some will hate to admit it, Dabo is, in the words of The Jeffersons’ theme song, movin’ on up.
