Their qb went out in 1st quarter. Team knew they were going to run and they still ran for 400 yards on them. Which also means defense is tired.uk offense really hasn't done anything all day except 2 drives. Yet you want the defense to stop them again, and trust the offense to be able to go 25 yards to score. Yet apparently you didn't trust them to get 3 yards to win it. Makes sense.

I really thought the Cats could handle NW. UK has maxed out under Stoops but I think all in all, the fans will take it.

White hat said Benny grabbed his arms, pushed them away, and contacted the official. He said Benny didnít say anything.

I really love some of UK's players, but given their season history of failing when a close game is on the line - why would we have any other reason than to expect the outcome we got?

UK Football gonna keep on UK Footballin...................

Why was the White Hat holding his hands out?

Not based on today's game. They played hard, seemed prepared, and was competitive. Stoops didn't make any boneheaded decisions. Now Fitz did.

UK has something like 10 or 11 seasons in the last 50 with 7+ wins. Stoops has 2 of them in his first 5 years. Yeah, lets fire him and start over.

Exactly. I get it, he was trying to help him up, whatever. Do your job and call the late hit. If you aren't don't initiate contact then toss the kid when he pushes you arms away.

I disagree with going for 2. I'll take boring and a win over gambling and a loss, any day.

Extend the game and take your chances in overtime. I understand the Cats could not stop the run, but anything can happen in OT. Anything, especially with Fitzgerald's decision making to that point.

Everyone keeps saying take your chance in OT and that your gambling with going for the win. But why? Are you gambling going to OT? To me both are gambles and taking a chance. Hell kicking an extra point isn't a given.

Makes perfect sense as the 3 yards needs to be on one play. Anyway, worked out well............for Northwestern. Just another way for a KY team to lose.
