I like UK to win the game by 5-7 points.

Something like UK 30-24, or thereabouts.

The more points UK scores, the more Hassan Hall returns kickoffs. I would not be surprised if he has some very nice returns. UK has a great punter while UL has a good one. Neither team has a good place kicker. UL is bad on on sides kickoff defense (if there is such a stat).

69% of the tickets still on UL to cover +3.

There is a great old saying that I can't post that reinforces how good I feel about UK -3.

If I'm Kentucky I play Smith and Bowden several times early and see what defensive schemes are played. With both in the backfield to take a snap, it will be interesting. Against UT-Martin they had Smith faking a handoff and running outside when the OLB committed. Picked up yardage each time. I think that freezes the OLBs.

Given my user name I completely hope and expect Kash to have good game if he is healthy.

As for the game, it appears that modern defenses struggle stopping the power run of Kentucky because defenses never see it. Or at least the average to sub par defenses struggle. I love it knowing we are going to run it 50 times and the opposing team simply doesn’t have an answer. I think UK has to score 35 to win.

    38-34 UK.

I love looking at predictions. Every person in this thread predicts the over which is not uncommon with any prediction thread and why Vegas has massive hotels. The o/u is at 53.

I have not watched a ton of either team this season. Last UK game I watched was the UT game. How they are able to generate any points against against a Power 5 school is astonishing. They are fascinating to watch on some level, but for all the wrong reasons. Point being, I am not sure in what world UK can get into a shootout with any team in the country. If they are to win, it will be because they are controlling the clock and keeping the Cards in check. Beyond the shootout scenario, any other result would not shock me. (UL 42, UK 10); (UK 18, UL 15); etc.

Again, in watching either team as little as I have, I would never pick UK to win against a semi-formidable competitor. I'll go UL 27, UK 13. Now watch it be UK 64, UL 58.

I am on the Under, see several posts above. I don't understand the predictions of high scoring, but that is why they play the game.

Current forecast has a 90% chance of rain on Saturday. I would think that favors the Cats. I will be there in my poncho for the 3rd or 4th time this season.

27-24 Cats! Old school football. Good defense and a solid running game. Go Cats!

Line is still at UK -3, tickets have dropped to 63% on UL, down from 69% some late arriving BGP fans getting in?
