I think Towles is an upgrade over Newton and probably Smith too.
I didn't watch the Marshall game so I won't speak on it. Especially since I counted the WKU game as a UK loss.

Marshall had a winning record, and won a bowl game. That argument lost steam five posts ago. While UofL should have beaten them, having that as the backbone of your argument isn't doing you any favors.
And most of Trinity's skill players will be at UofL, too.

Jacksonville State had a winning record and UK's skill players not only should have beat them they actually did beat them.
Trinity's players, if they go to Louisville, will start from day 1.

4 wins and Joker has one more year. Unless Morgan Newton is the QB and they average less than 50,000 for home games. If those happen he's in trouble.
