Pruitt has been deserving of a HC job for a while IMO.
I was hoping you and Woody wouldn’t already be passing Clarksville lol. We will see how he pans out.

This is the first year of the early signing period and it creates a much different environment than years past.

Saban cut Kiffin lose immediately but kept Smart on and carved out time for him to address Georgia responsibilities while preparing for the playoffs. Will be interesting to see what he does here.

It's not...Saban and Kirby Smart have been holding Pruitt up for years.

This will be bad; not what Bama needed right now. Linebackers coach leaving as well....our best recruiter

How to solve any SEC coaching crisis: Hire random Alabama assistant.

Again Smart had over a month after the NC to salvage a recruiting class. He could realistically do that and finish the job with Bama. Pruitt has basically 13 days to do that now with the early signing period on Dec 20.

We won't find out how much this means for Bama until Jan 1st, but it certainly doesn't help.

In this case it quiets the noise and salvages a train wreck. Say Bama and SEC fans automatically think Saban and now Kirby Smart. I don't know if this will pan out so well for Tennessee though.

He's a dead man walking. They'll be back in the market within 5 years.
