The one thing I would change about college football is the length of the games. I am going to watch the NFL all day on Sundays because that is my preference by far. Giving up a Saturday, also, is tougher. It seems like every college football game is 4 hours long, A lot more wasted time in nothing happening.

Next in college football, for me, is I have no strong allegiance to any team I like both UC and UK the same, but won't anguish or get ticked or lose sleep if they lose. A Bengals loss, however, puts me in a really bad mood. That is shameful and pitiful, but reality. People just leave me alone for a few hours then I am good to go. College football does not have that affect on me.

Lastly, I would like to see a 16 team playoff for the sheer enjoyment of watching one and done competitions. Yes, Alabama this year is going to beat any team easily (if Tua is playing and healthy, he is that big a difference maker), but normally there are 4-5 that could win it. A bowl game is just a waste of time. If the NFL had bowl games and a playoff (see how stupid that sounds), I would not care if the Bengals played in a bowl game.

Be the person people are talking about, not the person talking about other people.

I think in the majority of cases the people that love college football are usually ones with a strong allegiance to a team. I love bowl games. I think they are probably the coolest thing about college football. Sure if you had asipirations of winning the national championship and came up just short of the playoff it’s a little disappointing. But bowl games are great for fans and teams. It gives them the opportunity to travel, spend a week in a cool environment and get to play one last game. Yeah they don’t really mean anything but the teams and fans love it and it makes college football unique. Plus for the teams that do make a bowl game, those extra weeks of practice that you get for bowl games provide a huge opportunity to get young players involved more and lay the foundation for your season next year. I certainly understand from an outsiders perspective though that bowl games can seem rather silly.
