    Florida State 45 Louisiana-Monroe 44 OT

FSU gets the ball first in OT and struggles to score, but does. Monroe takes just 3 plays to score then misses the extra point.

The Noles blew a 21 point lead in this one.

How do you not go for two if you're Monroe? They had the Noles on the ropes but were never going to consistently stop FSU themselves.

    Unreal how far they’ve fallen.

People won't even admit to being their fans anymore. I have a buddy in Indiana that was ate up with the Noles, told me last week.that he doesn't really keep up with college ball now. Our of the blue he is suddenly a KC Chiefs fan...

It bums me out. I really want to see Taggart succeed. I never expected them to do well last year, and they met those expectations. But I was anticipating improvement this year. That hasn’t shown up yet. I fear he is running out of time.

The saddest part of all of this is the fact that Cam Akers is being wasted away in Tallahassee. Akers is an elite back who has a bright future in the NFL ahead of him, I just hate to see that kind of talent not showcased while in college.

I thought that Florida State would show better than what they have. If things continue as they have, Taggart won’t be around long.

Cam Ackers is made for the GCO. He had 248 all purpose yards, today. FSU racked up 45 points and 499 yards of offense. However, this offense is a problem for the defense. The Noles either score fast or go 3 and out. And when they go 3 and out, they go 3 and out quickly. The GCO is designed to move fast and score quick. The defense gets no rest. By the time the second half roles around, they are pooped. It didn't help when Blackmon threw 2 picks and Keith Gavin fumbled after a catch. Dontavious Jackson's bone head personal foul late in the game made no sense at all. I saw where Derrick Brooks giving him an ear full on the sideline. Did Jackson ever get back into the game?

UL-Monroe was one of the two teams that Georgia State beat last year. Just sayin'.

Picked FSU over OSU. College couldn’t be worse for him in terms of football, guess at least he’s 30 mins from a beach.
