Does the month long break from games hurt officials?

If you are watching any of the bowl games the officiating is horrible across the board. The UK game ejections, the fumble in the Miami game just now. Does the break hurt the officiating for these big games?

Idk but Mark Richt better be glad he didn’t have those sissy’s that officiated or attempted to UK’s game yesterday.

I’d think like anything else it’d take a few plays to get back in the groove. For the players it’s “shaking off the rust”. But officials don’t get the advantage of shaking off the rust, as they don’t practice like the players.

Also just now, I cannot believe Mark Richt didn’t get tossed from the Orange Bow. He grabs the official then bumps him after the flag. Dude should be gone. Officials need to grow a pair on this one and toss him. Maybe why we see constant skirmishes between teams and players openly disrespecting officials in the NFL
