You are arguing against the rule and not the call. Nobody likes the rule, but by the rule it was the right call.

The red zone failures for OSU in the first half are haunting the heck out of them now.

Evidently not that was a easy call for the officials.

Exactly. He is too emotional to realize we all agree with him that the rule is stupid.

That would’ve been an interception if he was grabbing the Buckeye players jersey with his other hand.

On the last play the replay clearly shows the rec being held.
But Kirk H. says the defender did everything perfect.

I get OSU fans anger over the targeting call. I hate the rule , the argument being made against the call is perfectly logical. The problem is the rule isn't written logically. It was the correct call and I hate it.

On the game OSU dominated 85% of the first half. They need to catch their wind and regroup because now Clemson is the aggressor.

If I'm Clemson I keep everything short passes or runs and let your play makers make plays. Don't allow Lawerence to hold the ball and let OSU's strength the pass rush get involved.

What is so hard for you to understand? Do you know what the “crown” of the helmet is? Serious question, cause there is no other justification for your hissyfit.

To be fair Fields has a few as well.

He’s had a couple this half, not so much in the first.

Nitpicking but Clemson had a clear pick 6 opportunity dropped in the first half.

I think both QBs are playing well.

Neither is playing bad. I would just take Fields, I trust him more.

Tossing guys for one hit is beyond absurd.

Or if you have two levels of targeting. One is a 15 yarder, the other 15 yards and the ejection.

It’s wild how much the game has changed in the 20 years since I graduated. There woulda been a half dozen ejections a game back then under these rules.
