Army 42 San Diego State 35

If you watched this one, you got to see a very entertaining game between to teams that had zero quit in them.

Leading Army (10-30) and that potent rushing attack of theirs was Ahmad Bradshaw (Chicago, Illinois) 32 rushing attempts 180 yards and two scores. He also connected on 1-3 passes for 6 yards.Darnell Woolfolk (Endwell, NY) had 2 rushing scores, on 21 carries, with a total of 87 yards.

For San Diego State (10-3) maybe the best runnning back in the nation Rashaad Penny (Norwalk, CA) led them with 221 yards, 4 touchdowns on just 14 carries.

It was a great game and I knew given the chance that Army would go for 2 and the win, then they made it. What a game!!!

I love watching the Service Academies play football.

My favorite college football game every year growing up was Army-Navy. I always watched the game with my pawpaw. It became a tradition. We always rooted for Army. Young folks today would be surprised to find out that Army used to be a college football powerhouse. Army won three consecutive national championships(1944-46).
