One can not be shocked a bad call was in favor of Bama. In reading the thread I learn of the bogus call.

As someone that watches as much football as you reportedly do, you should know calls are missed both ways in every game.

B1G officials probably weren't prepared for the speed of two SEC teams.

They said on the radio this morning that Saban has only been a D1 coach for 22 years.

Six championships in 22 years is insane.

What a game. I couldn't care less who won that game and thoroughly enjoy it, especially the second half.

All the SEC haters that were saying how awful of a National Championship game it would be, probably should be enjoying a little crow.

Nick Saban is the GOAT. Don't know how you could argue against it.

I am not sure, but he sure couldn't have handled himself any better than he did last night. Really felt for him as he did a quick on-field interview after the game. Tough to swallow for a player, but it was the right decision.

Nick Saban is the best coach in all of college football. Many, including myself, said maybe not after last years national championship and during parts of this season. I really believe that them losing to Clemson last season was a testament to how good of a quarterback that Watkins was and is. After last night and seeing how Alabama beat Clemson last week, there is no question who the best coach is in college football.

Feel like mental toughness will be a big buzz word after that game last night.

Bet Coach Cal already plans on talking to his players about it and using Bama as an example. I can hear him in today's shootaround already.

As a college football fan - I could not have asked for anything better in a National Championship game. Drama, a Rally, Gutsy calls and 5-star caliber play. Many thanks to both teams.

I heard Saban called Chuck Smith at halftime to get advice about the QB situation!

In the second half and OT Chubb had 10 carries for 9 yards. Michel had 6 carries for 37 yards. If Smart gave Michel 12 carries and Chubb 4 in the second half and OT, I think Georgia wins the game. It was totally inexcusable for Chubb to be out there in OT instead of Michel.
I didn't understand Georgia's thinking on their RB rotation(Swift would have gotten the carries that Michel didn't get if I were calling the plays last night) at all, plus they were too conservative offensively in the 4Q. It seemed as though they started trying to run the clock too early and it may have cost them in the end.

Yep, never going against Bama/Saban in the natty.

The only question I have is how was Tua not already starting? Bama loses last night without him, and you have to think they would have been undefeated with him under center.

Did we see the end of Hurts taking the majority of the snaps last night?

Trying to run clock did cost them the game ... it’s like a prevent defense with the game on the line ... you can’t give Alabama life and it did ... good game though , field was loaded with some very talented freshman making plays for both teams .. future is bright for both programs ... way to go SEC !!!!
