    Western Kentucky 84 Marshall 75

    Western Kentucky(15-6, 7-1 conference USA) was able to pull away late to defeat a spunky Marshall (14-7, 5-3 Conf) squad tonight. Neither team shot the ball very well. WKY 47.6% from the field, Marshall 40.6%.

    Western Kentucky was led by Darius Thompson(Memphis, Tn) 20 points, 6 boards and 3 assist.Dwight Coleby(Nassau, Bahamas) had 13 rebounds and 18 points. Justin Johnson(Hazard, Ky) had 13 rebounds and 9 points.

    Marshall was led by,C.J. Burks(Martinsburg, W,VA) A game high 29 points. Jon Elmore(Charleston, W,Va) added 19 points and 9 boards.

    Marshall used 5 bench players but got just 2 points from them. WKY used 4 bench players and they scored a total of 18 points.

    If you want to see Hollingsworth absolutely clutch this game, watch from 1:52:30 at the link below. He picks up a technical at about 4:40 (@1:46:00 in link) left in the game, which lit a fire under him. He sinks a go ahead 3, gets a defensive foul call to give their best player his 5th foul, then draws ANOTHER defensive foul call to give another Marshall player his 5th foul, then gets an impressive put back. Enjoy.
