Swansey also drove the nail in Murray State's coffin at the OVC tourney last year:

Kevin Murphy dropped 33 more last night. Dude is a beast when he gets rolling.

Last night was a tough loss for Morehead State. I'm sure they'll look back on that one as one they should've had.

They got like 14 total points from Ty Proffitt, Drew Kelly and Angelo Warner was the big issue.

SIUE shot 52% and MSU shot 36% (or something along those lines)

I have never understood Ty Proffit. Never seems like he has been as good as he should be.

He was OVC Player of the Week last week...then scored 4 points (I think) last night. Just had an off night.

We all know the biggest story of the night was MSU losing to TSU. However, the biggest upset of the night came in Cookeville, TN. How in the hell did Eastern Illinois beast Tennessee Tech by 17 points at their place?

Did that really happen? I haven't checked the scores yet.

Cip was only 2-11 from the field for 9 points, but MSU pretty much was in control throughout against SEMO. SEMO is one of the top shooting teams in the NCAA but the Racers held them to their lowest output of the season.

That is 3 OVC regular season titles in a row for the Racers. Prohm was very emotional in the post-game: http://www.wpsdlocal6.com/sports/No-16-Murray-State-beats-SE-Missouri-75-66-139414523.html

Vitale on coming to Murray State this Saturday: http://espn.go.com/espn/dickvitale/s...sters-showdown

Love him or hate him, getting Dickie V. to Murray is a pretty big deal. Racer Nation had a good PR campaign to bring him to town. I actually sit front row just behind the commentators so I can go Mythbusters to see if I can see my reflection on his head.

Interesting note: If EKU beats EIU on Saturday, they are in the OVC Tourney.

If EKU loses and Morehead beats SIUE, EIU is in the OVC Tourney due to a tie-breaker.

Not sure how the tiebreaker scenarios work for the #3/#4/#5 spots. You want to avoid the #5 seed.
