I wouldn't say getting to the title game and then only losing one game all year and that being in the final four, not getting over the hump. I call that being the NCAA tournament is just hard as heck to win.

It's pretty simple, they have shown they can play with and beat anyone in the country, just like they have shown they can play down and lose to anyone. Then when you look at college basketball as a whole, there is no great teams at all. There is no real team out there where its like wow they would have no chance. You look at every team and each team has flaws. It will come down to matchups and who is playing their best come March. Even with Uks obvious flaws they have still shown flashes of being able to do very well against top teams. They just haven't shown they can do it all game long yet. They have a month to figure that out. Maybe they will or maybe they won't. Which just like in 2011 and 2014 I'm sure most people will say they won't.

I thought Briscoe was known for his tough defense coming out of high school?

It definitely wasn't his shooting that he was known for.

Briscoe's defense isn't that bad. Murray, on the other hand, couldn't guard a fence post.

This team was gutted once Dakari announced for the NBA. Although not great, he was enough of a threat that you had to guard him in the post. Same thing happened when Marquis Estill left years ago. With Dakari, this team is in the top 3.

Crazy how fast leads can build and evaporate. As quick as it grew to 21 points, it was back to a couple possessions within about 5 minutes.
