With respect to the game, that was tough to watch. Put aside my fandom, my eyes were burning.

They are going to be ok. Will be nice to see their top 8 or 9 all be available

Sure they have some concerns but what team doesn't

I might be wrong, but I feel like they are running some different sets and some different motion that puts Knox in the right spot for his game. Basically, Cal adjusted his offense some because he knows he has to get Knox going to be successful.

The book is out on this team. Punch them in the mouth and they'll fold like a deck of cards.

Don't have a player with a tough bone in his body on the roster.

I think Green and possibly Vanderbilt are guys who wouldn't back down from others or shy away once things get tough at the end of a game. However other than them I agree.

This is SO obvious it hurts, AND Diallo and Washington do so many dumb stupid things on the court, hard to win close games with players like that. You could see Cal was really upset with Diallo last night! Does Washington EVER guard anybody??

Could that be the problem, no susperstars to conduct the train? Might see the same thing next year with whiffs on Barrett and Williamson.

Williamson shocked everyone at Clemson and picks UK on Saturday.

I am really curious where this team ranks nationally in offensive fouls committed. I tried to look it up but was unsuccessful. I feel like they have the be at or near the top.

Just a bad loss. No way around it. This team has some serious work to do to be a team that can survive the 1st weekend of the tournament.

Agreed. This team reminds me more of the 2012-2013 NIT team than any of Cal's other teams. No star, no leader, no toughness. Yuck.

I was encouraged by a few flashes of game by Vanderbilt.

For all the hand wringing, hit those free throws and we very well could have won it.

Imagine being a 1-2 seed and having to beat this UK team in the 2nd or 3rd round

Unless they make drastic improvements, shouldn't be too tough a task for the top of the field...

With respect to the lack of toughness argument, I think Gabriel is tough. After the game I was very disappointed the way UK played down the stretch. But every team is losing on the road. Conference road wins are tough, especially if you're UK or some other elite program. Where has Diallo's FT shooting ability gone? I am becoming less and less of a fan of his. I hope he gets it together.
