Notre Dame 81 Texas 80
What a game! Crazy ending. Great game for both teams though.
Notre Dame will play winner of UNC and Oregon.

Abrams almost made that half court shot..I thought he had it but it hit the front end of the rim.
So much for whoever said Texas would win by 15.

That was a very entertaining game to watch for this early in the season.

Notre Dame is going to have a very good season this year. Won't make up for the fiasco that is their football team, but still . . . . .

Two good teams.
Honestly, I told my 10 year old daughter to watch because I was sure Texas was going to hit a half-court shot. It just seemed like it was destined...

Here's to ND beating UNC and having a Top 4 from the Big East...
-
Good game by the Irish. McAlarney is a great shooter, and Harangody is a work horse. I though Abrams had the shot at the end. He missed it by about 3 inches. The Irish have thier word cut out for them against the 'Heels.

ND just about choked at the end.The missed free throws and then not fouling with fouls to give is just crazy. If Abrams had made that last shot Brey would have got what he deserved by the lack of coaching down the stretch.

I have one question, why is Hillsland,a 6-9 center, taking the ball at the top of the key and playing the role of gaurd and driving into the lane? He missed 2 drive in lay ups that were forced and then tries a reverse that he bricked. Luke Zeller should be in the starting 5. He had much more production in the mintues he played than Hillsland did.
