If I was talented enough to be a D-1 basketball player, but wasn't going to be playing professional, I'd want to play somewhere that I felt happiest and felt my skills were showcased best. If that place is no longer NKU for Carson, then we can do nothing more than wish him the best with his next team. You only get limited time at that level, might as well be somewhere that will allow you to enjoy it the most.

I heard rumblings of Western Kentucky a couple of days ago, but I am sure it is a fluent situation.

I heard WKU is recruiting him but not necessarily that he has made that choice yet.

He could slide nicely into that role that Justin Johnson is leaving open.

If he ends up there wouldn't that be a step up for him? WKU seems to be more on the rise since Stansbury got there.

If playing the 3 was his issue at NKU; he would have the same fit problem at WKU. Stansbury wants athletic wings to play the 3. He however fits the mold of Johnson who plays on the perimeter and the post. WKU may not be a bad move for him afterall.

I understand what you're saying, but Johnson has more height and much more outside shooting ability, kind of brings us back to square one.

    Carson is not considered athletic?

Just going to where he felt the love. Hate it; but everyone thinks he left because he wasn't happy with the role being asked at NKU. Sometimes it's easier to say yes the 2nd time you hear it. Probably exactly same role NKU was asking. Good luck, Carson.

1000% agree. These kids have multiple schools recruiting them. In the end they make an informed decision that they and their families think is the best. Kid gets to school and find out maybe it wasn't the best decision....for various reasons. The good thing is Carson and many others have the option to try again somewhere else. Good luck big fella
