Also, I don't think the last teams into the tournament are necessarily playing in Dayton. The last at large team in the tournament is probably ranked number 45 or so in the RPI. That means there are 23 teams considered lower-ranked than them in the tournament.

Mar 12, 18, 09:40 AM #50Listening to the committee chair yesterday he specifically said Oklahoma was in comfortably, and their free-fall simply impacted their seeding. Barkley took him to task for it.
The last team in was Syracuse, and Davidson winning the A10 knocked Notre Dame out of the field according to the chair.
