Not the ideal finish lol but definitely a lesson learned in closing the game for the Cards and their young Coach. Now its about time for football, love these kind of Sundays...

Congrats for the Cards on another win. Coach Padgett has to be considered for "Coach of the Year" honors on the job he has done so far this season.imo

Yes your are correct I had forgot about him. He was born in Nicholasville KY and also played for legendary coach Paul Patterson at Taylor University. Patterson was the coach at Ashland Paul Blazer when I was starting to play basketball in high school. Patterson was at Ashland for 5 years and never lost a game in the region and won 5 straight regional titles.

Holtmann inherited a horrendous team. Padgett inherited a really good team but a horrendous situation. But to me those two have seperated themselves in the COY race.

At least it’s another game won that should have been won. As long as they can keep doing that, they should be okay come tournament time. Next up is Miami on the road. If they win there, should be in good shape.

    Go Cards!
