    Soooo happy for David Padgett!

That was a heart attack game early… , but the Cards with excellent play by the freshmen, hung in there and prevailed!

    My thoughts:

    -Congrats to Padgett’s first win
    -Nwora can shoot!
-we will play plenty of freshmen
-did VJ King even play in the second half?
    -we suck at free throws...still

Darius Perry: perfect game in his collegiate debut. 3/3 from three and 8/8 from the free throw line. 17 points to go with 3 assists, two rebounds and two steals.

Deng Adel leads all scorers with 20.

6-11 freshman Malik Williams didn't play much, but he was 2/2 from the free throw line. That was a fun change at the center position.

You spelled Anas wrong in the last line. Nobody else missed more than 1 FT. Weren't several of Anas' misses front ends of 1&1? Maybe he needs to shoot them underhanded.

I saw that we were 20-29 from the free throw line. I was definitely only remembering Anas missing three in a row on 1 and 1.

TBH, 1-2 ain't no great shakes, but a small sample size. Anas will lose playing time if he doesn't improve.
