Landon Slone
I did not watch Landon Slone play in high school but I hear he was a great scorer. Can he make an impact at UK?

He can shoot that ball. The kid could probably make some contribution as a role player. With no scholarship there should be no pressure.

He can shoot it but I don't see him making much of a contribution. I hope I am wrong but don't see it happening.

He should get some PT as a Jr and a Sr. He will end up being a Ravi Moss type, role player.

I'd like to see him contribute but I don't see it.

I was thinking more of a Cameron Mills, but any contribution would be great from a walk on.

In time Yes, I think he will.

I think the Tackett analogy is more accurate than the Moss one. I saw all three play in high school, I was not overly impressed with Slone. He was a good high school player, but I don't see his game translating well to major D1 basketball. He is a walk-on, so there is really no risk.......

I don't see him contributing much this year but I do think by the time he is a junior he will be a role player.

You know Gillespie says that he plays the players that work the hardest in practice as example in Coury. You just never know when his time comes he just has to be ready.
Would LeBron go back to the Cavs?
