Off topic a little. Im just not seeing an 8 bid league here. I watch alot of ball, but I guess Im just missing something. Is college bball just so bad that 8 SEC teams can get in. I can see 6 good teams here and none being better than 3 or 4 seed.

It's definitely a 7 or 8 bid league. They just don't have a dominant team. Then the league itself just beat each other up.

I think in that scenario they're a safe 4 seed, with the potential to be a 3 if a couple other teams stumble early.
Agreed. Imo if they win our they should be a 3 seed. However they also should have been a 3 seed in 2016, but the committee made them a 4 seed. Even though they shared the sec title and won the tourny title. So who knows.

Absolutely serious. For someone who watches as much basketball and is as plugged as you are, I can't believe that you didn't see a drop off in the way they played in that game versus the previous three or four games. Some times you have to take the blue tinted glasses off when you watch the team.

They won by 19 points. It's hard for a team to get up for a 12-win team that just lost their head coach. Not to mention, they were literally beaten and battered early. Once they got into the flow of the game, they methodically blistered Ole Miss. The big game is Saturday and they all knew that.

That’s a solid and understandable take. Those reasons help explain why they did not play as well. Hopefully that is all it was and they are refocused for Florida on Saturday.

They talked trash about Florida after the game. I'm okay with talking as long as you can back it up. Let's see how they perform tomorrow.

It’s a solid win. I just hope the next time we see Ole Miss that Kenny Payne is still on our bench.
