Exactly my thoughts on Diallo. This group plays much better as a "team" when he is not on the floor. Also appears not to accept Cal's criticisms too well either when he is removed from the game. Washington has stepped up his game over the last week or so and they need that inside presence. Really like what I am seeing out of Vanderbilt. Guy as an aura about him that this team feeds off of and I just hope Cal does not insert him into the starting lineup because they sometimes need that boost off the bench.

I do think Vanderbilt has finally worked the off the rust, but Knox has shown all season he can disappear at anytime. Lets see how the Cats play these last 3 games heading into the SEC Tournament before we start comparing them to some of those other teams. The 2016 team lost in the 2nd round to Indiana by the way.
Get back to us after you watch the tape of the game tonight. I think you will agree that the team that played last night looks a lot different than what we have seen previously even the WVU game. I am interested in hearing your comments after you watch the game.

No need to wait....This will be his post in Saturday's prediction thread...."Missouri rebounds from their midweek loss. No way the Cats keep up. Missouri 80 Kentucky 68".

I agree with you and I hope he doesn't. But I am optimistic that he's learned how successful he can be when he moves off the ball. Plus it seems like Calipari has put in some more offense that fits Knox's game.

This was more impressive than the WVU game. The WVU game was a fool's gold of performances. UK was knocking down shots from the perimeter like it was nobody's business and it gave a false sense of hope. This was not like that.

I agree. The offensive sets and motions that they were running looked so much better last night.

Was the best I've seen from them this year.

I know I mentioned that 2016 lost. But yes I agree consistency is key now. Plus still a little sloppy with the ball in the last few minutes.

Vanderbilt gives them what I call "beast energy." They've needed someone with beast mode mentality when it comes energy and determination. That's what he gives them.

Speaking only about the energy alone, reminds me of Julius Randle.

I know he can't shoot a lick but I sure like what he gives them around the basket in terms in rebounds and in the energy he brings every single second he's on the court. He's relentless.

The teams improving, things I see that still need to happen for the grass to get even greener.

Wenyen, Washington, Richards, some consistency out the 3. I know the good news is they have all 3, but some consistency from that group might take this team to another level.

Hami: has to slow down when he's in the game or the way things look his role will only diminish. He played a season low 10 minutes last night

Diallo's last 5 games; Arkansas 10 mins, Alabama 15 mins, Auburn 16 mins, Tex A&M 20 mins, Tennessee 13 mins.

Missouri lost their point guard, so they won't be the same team.
