Final nice bounce back win for the Cats. Congrats to Coach Cal on picking up his 300 win coaching the Cats.

Hit free throws down the stretch. PJ took over in the 2nd half. Too sloppy for my liking in March.

Might see Reid Travis on Saturday. I will be in attendance again.

They finished with only 6 turnovers and on the road against a tournament team on their senior day. So in my opinion it was never going to be pretty, but the main thing is they won.

Chances are they will be playing in front of crowds that is the majority UK fans at games.

One thing I didnt expect when Reid Travis got hurt was how much he meant on defense. I knew against Tennesee it would hurt not having him. However they are definitely not playing as well on defense without him.

Pretty good road win, even though it wasn't always pretty.

With that said UKs best players struggled against Tennesee. Tonight Washington, Johnson, and Herro played much better. Johnson doesnt seem confident in his shot anymore and is struggling at the line lately though.

I also thought Richard's and Quickley gave good minutes tonight.

EJ with two great defensive plays. Nice road win for UK.

I agree, I don't think that U.K. wins the SEC tourney w/o him and certainly need him to make it to a final four. Travis gives the Cats another physical defender down low and helps in keeping Washington, Montgomery along with himself out of foul trouble and the team stays stronger should one of them get early fouls and have to sit.

This one was as all road conference games …. physical and tough to get the win. I thought that the Cats played well overall. There were some break downs on the half court defense and were out rebounded in the first half. Montgomery made a couple of big defensive plays late. P.J. Washington made a statement that "we're not losing" in the 2nd half. When he gets the ball down on the low blocks (especially left side) then usually it's 2pts, 2 plus one. T. Herro, K. Johnson also had really good games. Lets close it out with a W over Fla. on Sat. and get ready for the SEC tourney.

Yeah, I guess I should clarify about my "too sloppy". I felt like our defensive was sloppy. Our basketball IQ seems to go down quite a bit when EJ & Richards are getting Travis' minutes, but I guess that is to be expected. Richards actually played pretty well but there are several times throughout the game that I am just shaking my head. I didn't think EJ played well at all, without his two stops at the end.

I'd sit PJ Washington down and show him all of his fouls over the past few games and discuss them with him. This team is so much better when he is on the floor, which was very evident in the 2nd half. I feel so confident when he gets the ball on that lower left block.

I like the version of Keldon Johnson we got last night. Attack, attack, and attack some more.

Last night was Kentucky's 10th quadrant one win, which I believe is tied for first in the country. Tennessee has 8.

    Nice road win.

Kentucky, much like Duke, needs their injured big man back to have a chance at the title.

Saw that Lunardi still has Kentucky as a #1 seed as of this morning. I think they make the SECT finals and they lock it up.

My only concern with the version of Keldon last night is that it works against teams with not much height inside. However, we have seen a lot this year he struggles to finish against bigger teams and usually gets his shot blocked. I am hoping he gets his confidence back in his shot, which seems to be gone lately.

I believe Jerry Palm has them at a #2. It probably will depend on who gets the 1 seed in the SEC tournament out of LSU and Tennessee. If LSU gets the 1 seed, then it sets up UK vs. Tennessee in the semi finals. Which would most likely be for the 1 seed in the Big dance. However, if Tennessee is the one seed in the SEC tournament. UK can't see them until the SEC Championship. So at that point, they may give it to Tennessee if both make the SEC Championship. The committee has shown they usually don't change anything based off the SEC Championship game.

I definitely agree with you but I also think that's another version of the offense that Cal can use against different teams in the tournament.

Granted Ole Miss has a lot of guards and Reid is out, which is why they ran it. But I think spreading the floor and getting the big men out of the way, or working PJ in the high post, frees up things a little more for someone like Keldon and somewhat Herro.

Seems like Cal is still adding different looks/offenses.
