Get out of here. This is what the game has become. The greatest basketball coach ever had to adapt to the one and done method to win championships again. You probably hate the 3 pointer too.

I would like to see you breakdown exactly what Brannon runs on offense and what Cal runs on offense.

Great player. Meet Sacha Killeya-Jones. More athletic, more offensively skilled, and sits the bench for UK. Vogt is great but he's a Murray St or NKU type player not UK or UofL.

I get it, we all love Kentucky High School Basketball. After all that's what this whole site is about. But there is not enough talent in this entire state where if you put them all on one team, would make the NCAA Tournament. Maybe if you included guys like Russell or Rondo who transferred out then you could probably put together an NCAA Tournament roster.

To me the biggest miss in recent years is not an in state guy, it was Luke Kennard. We could have really used a knock down shooter this time of year. Just north of Cincy, Cal should have locked him down.

Cal don't run a offense pretty simple.

What exactly was your point of complaining about Monk after this last game? Every shot he took was a good shot. He didn't force anything like he does sometimes. He played good defense and starting to go inside to try to help rebound.

The only thing he did wrong was his shots weren't falling this time. So not exactly sure how his play last night went with your AAU comments.

    Completely agree!

The difference in this game was NKU missed a ton of open shots they have made all year. Three kids from Kentucky and 2 from Indiana showed UK how to play the game with heart, not just talent.

He was awesome. When he develops his 12-15 footer this off season, which he will' NKU will have a hell of a inside outside game next year. Teams can't guard McDonald AND Williams both inside, so it will pick your poison.

Drew SPRINTED and then had to bang down low with Bam and Humprhies. Kid worked his prodigious rear end off and I couldn't be happier for it as a NKU fan.

Yes, he struggled offensively but he's not scoring much against that front line down low.

His threat to shoot from the outside actually opened it up for Carson to put Willis under the basket for entry passes and easy looks.

36 minutes against that type of size and speed says a lot about #34.
    WELL SAID.

I'd say that's a big stretch at this point. We'll see we he becomes.

No. Is that because they are no good or don't care? No. They will be ok. Everyone on that team knows they need to play better Sunday if they want to win. They will get back at it today and get ready for Wichita. I think the only thing that concerns me is Monk. He has to get it going. Even if his shot is not falling he has to start getting to the rim!!
Didn't appea North Carolina or Kansas had a problem had problem playing inspired. Good, great, teams NEVER have a problem getting inspired. They aren't that good to turn it on and off at will.

I agree time will tell. Always has puzzled me how KY is a basketball state that produces very few basketball stars.
