I'm going to go ahead and use this space as an opportunity to rail on the University of Louisville's uniform choices.

See, back in the block lettering day, we almost never, ever saw the old black jerseys, except on special occasions. You knew it was a big game when Louisville busted those threads out, and you were legitimately excited.

Ask yourself: When's the last time you saw Louisville wear red on the road? The whole black jersey thing has become totally passé. Nowadays there's a blackout somewhere every other week.

I hated it when Louisville switched away from the old block-lettering jerseys. There's something to be said for tradition and consistency. We've already seen Louisville come out in orange-looking jerseys (remember that Big East tourney that had everybody adjusting the color settings on their TV?), so what's next? Denim? Silly-looking tiger-stripes? We don't need cheap gimmicks to look good. The block-letter jerseys were a classic, and they looked great. Bring 'em back. And relegate the black jerseys to special occasions (even though it seemed we always lost whenever we wore them, which was usually once every couple years).

With 15 teams in the Conference they have to play a couple teams twice. Will always play UNC twice.
