The city of louisville bent over backwards for the university in the yum center deal. It was worse than the city of cincinnatti's deal for Paul brown stadium.

The link you provided only speaks to 2014. It also assesses value not revenue. I'm not trying to be a jerk, I just haven't seen that statistic.

I know you're not. You missed the point. You have to scroll down on the first page of the link and look at the line graph. That shows revenue from 2008 until 2015. Don't bypass the first page and move into the links of 2014 revenue. Then you have to do a little work of addition and start when Cal got there in 2009. And compare the totals to the leaders. There is your revenue answer ;-)

Value ties into revenue. I can email you the other sites which make my case valid. If you have some free time.

The link and chart I provided explicitly lists revenues. I was hoping for something like that. I haven't seen any list in any year that has UK at the tops in revenue.

The list and chart you provided don't explicitly list revenue and it can't be implied from those statistics.

I am genuinely interested in sports figures like this. I have an MBA from UK and worked in corporate finance at P&G once upon a time. I would love to see your stats.

I will get you the links. I had a lot of free time at work today. I too have an MBA but from Wright State in Finance. I do not work for P&G but my career is pretty impressive as well. So that you feel good, they do not not TOP revenue, however they are in the TOP 3 in avg revenue AND we will even throw Value in there just to make it intersting. Like I said before, I'll get you the links to all of my logic which will show the value and revenue that Coach Cal brought to UK which is quite more impressive than any other coach in the last 5 years of coming to Kentucky

Back to my original point, people hate coach Cal because he seems more like a car salesman over a family man and pushes the one and done. He also has had a bad past with his previous 2 schools. Coach K has not has wins vacated and has been punished for violations but still uses the one and done players now. Both equally want to win but different paths have paved their futures of criticism.

Wisconsin was awarded 4 points in their game with UK that shouldn't have counted. The shot clock violation basket that tied the game at 58, and the basket they counted that ricocheted off Marcus Lee's hands into the hands of a Wisconsin player who caught it in midair as he jumped from out of bounds back onto the court. That was a violation but instead they counted the points. In a game as close as that one was those are crucial points.

He has generated more income to that University of Kentucky than any other Coach in any other program in the country in his short time there. He is also a great family man just like Coach K but people want to pick because they arent him.
Not sure where people get that idea about Cal. Unless I'm mistaken he attends Catholic Mass early in the morning each day. Not exactly the habit of someone who is frequently out enjoying the night life.

I'm pretty sure he does too. He tweets about it all the time.

I'd imagine its because he's a smooth talker (mom would call him a charmer), nice suits, and slicked back hair. Throw in the incidents at Memphis & UMass and its easy for me to see why people might say that about him, even though I don't think it.

That is just the type of persona that he puts out there. Which is fine, but it ties back to if you're not perfect, then you get ridiculed whether you attend early morning mass or not. Gamblers attend mass also and drink and enjoy the night life as well. I am no way calling Cal that because I dont believe he does those things only because he doesnt tell the public that he does those things. But Church didnt save him from Violations and fighting with Temples former head coach...and a long list of other things that can be dug out. He created his own criticism.

I'm taking U of L off the top spot because the University have given them over 40mil in revenue (which is included in their yearly revenue) on top of thier generated revenue since 2006 which gets them to the top spot. which only leave UNC and Duke above UK which I did not take the time to see if those schools give their programs funds as well. However, The University of Kentucky has given the basketball program less than 5mil since 2006. UK generated on the program alone in 2009 14mil, 2010 16mil, 2011 21mil, 2012 22mil, 2013 20mil, and 2014 21mil. Pretty good jump and revenue since the arrival of Coach Cal. This is not the most, but this is the top 5 with UofL, Kansas, UNC, and Duke. UofL has remained flat but at the top, UNC has dropped hard, Kansas has remained flat and in the 5th spot and Duke just hangs out where ever.
