He will be back after the 10th game of year. All smoke and mirrors.

How is it smoke and mirrors when that's exactly what's openly happening? The 11th game is on December 17 (mid-December) which is exactly the time Pitino pointed to being the earliest Behanan could find his way back onto the team.

Ok...how badly do you have to have a few tokes off a joint that you are willing to take a chance getting caught firing it up in your dorm room, KNOWING it can only lead to a really bad outcome for you if you get caught? Possible multiple issues here. Evidently this is a reoccurring issue from the sounds of it (smoking weed). He needs it so badly that he can't even wait to go out to the parking lot to his car or behind a tree in the dark, SOMEWHERE to smoke it where chances are he won't be as likely to get caught. And it's just so stupid.

    So, to sum it up:

    1. Reoccurring issue

    2. Needs weed really bad (dare I say addicted?)

    3. Stupid decision making

Kid is a repeat after repeat offender but will find his way back right when he's needed. He has no business wearing a uniform again. Instead he sits in the corner then gets chance 9.

Louisville won't "need" him in December...

Should he be allowed back on the team after multiple infractions in your opinion? This isn't a "second" chance.

If they let him back on the team, I'm fine with it. If they don't let him back on the team, I'm fine with that too.

Jurich on the possible return of Behanan: "It's all up to Chane... The ball is in his court."

100% confirms he's back sooner rather than later.

You would think so... But Chane clearly isn't the best decision maker.

Behanan is a multiple multiple multiple drug offender.
It takes quite a few dirty tests to get suspended and it takes a bunch more to get what he got.
What was surprising is that it took the media two or three days to catch on that he was booted and only then it was in the press release. He had been booted a few days before.
Ware was also suspended for having a dirty drug test as well, but no way they would release and ruin the national story that he became. Easier to hide it through him doing rehab and so forth.
At some point enough is enough and you got to move on. I guess he will have to have some clean tests all the way through the end of the semester and if he does, he will be back.
