'Bama goes 3-on-5 v. Minnesota, and nearly wins

After a scuffle that resulted in the ejection of everyone on the Alabama bench at the time, with 13 minutes to go, over the next two minutes the Tide saw another player foul out, and another go down with injury, leaving them playing 3-on-5.

'Bama was down 11 with a little less than 11 minutes left when they had to go with only 3 players. They outscored UM 30-24 the rest of the way and only lost by 5.

Check out Richard Pitino's comment at the end of the story.

The Gophers really need to learn how not to play down to the level of their competition.

On the other hand one has to tip their hat to the three Bama players, who never gave up.

The best part was Colin Sexton giving fives to invisible teammates when he hit free throws.

What does it say about the other players on Bama that these three played BETTER than when the other guys were on the floor with them?!?! This was LITERALLY addition by subtraction...

It says nothing about them, any team can get down in basketball.

Sexton was fun to watch. Props to the Alabama triumvirate.
