    Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Conor McGregor

For the Lightweight Title Saturday, October 6 at UFC 229. McGregor makes his return after two years fighting for the belt he never lost vs the undefeated champion. This is the fight UFC needs as viewership buys for PPV have been down.

I don't know anything about the current champ other than he's obviously undefeated. I could see this going bad for McGregor if he's not completely focused. It seems like his life outside the ring has been a circus the past couple of years.

I'll probably buy this fight, and have a few people over. Like him or not McGregor is good for PPV ratings

UFC in its current form is not very good.

Conner and Brock is about all they have big draw wise and they are horrible at building young, marketable, stars.

Khabib Nurmagomedov has no reason not to win this one.

Madness after the fight. Khabib jumps out of the cage and attacks someone and members of Khabib's team jump into the cage and attack McGregor. Three members of Khabib's team were arrested but McGregor refused to press charges.

The cynic in me always wonders how much of this stuff is calculated.

If it was the WWE, no doubt it would be calculated. Their whole shtick is fake. I don't think so with UFC.

He was overmatched on the ground, no doubt about that. His stand up looked good in the 2nd and 3rd though. His take down defense was good in the 3rd as well but I think he spent himself in that round doing that. By the 4th he was done if it went to the ground and sure enough that happened. Gave his back away and tapped. Post fight was a real shame after what turned out to be a really good night of fights. Should be interesting on how the UFC and The NAC handle Khabib. I believe he is going to be stripped of the title and suspended for a while. Tony Ferguson is waiting for either Khabib or Connor though.
