Florence and the Machine, acoustic performance of Dog Days. Just in case you weren't sure whether she really had those incredible pipes, she shows them off with very little backing music.

Among the most difficult pieces of music ever written, the "Queen of the Night Aria" from The Magic Flute is done to near perfection here. It's my favorite performance of this by a mile. There might be ten women anywhere in the world that can even sing this piece and Diana Damrau makes it sound as though Mozart wrote it just for her.

Absolutely loved this song the first time I heard it. But I would LOVE to have this version on an mp3.

NEVER pass up a chance to see this duo. Amazing live. I love their original music but they do some really cool covers. Here are two of them:

For those of you with kids. Let your son hear this. Another one that gives me chills.

For those of you that have seen him live he tells a pretty funny story with this one.

I didn't realize that Chris Knight was from Kentucky. I've always enjoyed his stuff and this is definitely a good one by him!

Used to love this one, went back and watched it for the first time in a while this past weekend. Good time to post it here, such a class example of making music and not just making songs......

Here's a more recent personal favorite (mainly because I was there in person and it was an awesome experience to see this show live).
