I heard about this last night. A friend of mine lives on that street, and I believe that is his son's bike. I'm not sure if he's the one that took the pics or not.

Thank goodness they caught it and killed it. I would hate to think what Birdsfan would have done if he saw this on his back deck. He would have had a sudden new appreciation for squirrels.

No. They're common in the south, and they are working their way north. However, this is the first instance I've heard of in NKY, or in Kentucky period.

I watched a special on them a while back, and they can be aggressive when you encounter one and they multiply quickly. They use pit bulls to hunt them, because they'll kill any other type of hunting dog.

I just spoke with a friend that lives on Summerlin Street, and she said that they've seen them up there since they have started building there years ago.

My old man goes on a two week wild boar hunt ever year. He says they are the meanest things he has ever laid his eyes on.

The only think I know about them is the sausage is mighty tasty.

The wild pig population is expanding, Tenn., Virginia, and Southeastern Ohio, all have breeding populations.
