Page 6 of This is a thread about beer/Wine tasting! Tell what beer/wine you are tasting right now. Tell about how it tastes, not how it makes you feel. I am having a Franzishaner Weissbier. It has a citrus tan orange look with a citrus taste. Not what I would expect from a German Beer. Has a huge head on it when poured into a glass. It has a really good taste to it, on the light side. Not something I would drink as a favorite, but at the same time, I do not dislike it.... 647 comments | 12201 Views | Go to page 1 →

As I remember it, Zima's were sort of a detector for...well, I don't want to say the word. But if you saw the "John Edward" episode of Southpark, you'll know what I'm talking about.

I toyed with a Sam Adams variety pack this weekend and tried the Nobel Pils for the first time and really enjoyed it, I also tried the Coastal Wheat but I can't say I enjoyed it as much as the others. IMO Sam Adams has a great thing going with their seasonal beers, I’m already craving a Summer Ale and when that time comes I’m sure I’ll then be craving a Winter Lager.

I'll probably need to finish off the mini-keg of HofbrauHaus Oktoberfest that I found at my local liquor store. It sent me for a wallop Saturday as I finished off what started at the bar.

I had a couple of those over the weekend at Molly Malone's in Covington. That's a great American craft-brew on tap or in bottles.

I love Marco. Grew up taking spring breaks there. Would love to go back and see how much it has changed. The plane ride from Miami was always the real treat.

You and TGG couldn't be more correct on that one...Young's Double Chocolate is one of my top five favorite beers, without a doubt.

Flew into Ft.Myers and drove a little less than an hour. It is the best beach in Florida just beautiful and about as far south on the gulf as you can go. I am staying at the Marriott Resort and It is perfect. Going to hate to come back home.

I've gotten so, that's all I drink any more. Have at least a 6 pack chilling in the fridge all of the time. Go to the American Legion Post 152 with my father (82) for a few every Sunday. It's our father/son thing.

I am having a Becks.Poured into a glass this beer has a huge head.
It has a good taste but I love my Newcastle much more.
I purchesed these beers for the bottles. They come in a green bottle.
Newcastle comes in a clear bottle,I need the green and brown bottles for my home brew.So no more Newcastle for a couple of more weeks.
