There is one in Michigan that also brews a VERY good KBB. The brewery is called Founders, they are located in Grand Rapids. IMO, its better then Kentucky Ale's version.

If you like IPA's (which I love) I recommend the Centennial IPA or Bells Brewery's Two Hearted IPA. Delicious! Stay away from Founder's Devil Dancer. It is a triple hopped IPA and it honestly tastes like it will melt your tongue. There is just too much hops for me in that one.

Absolutely, probably my favorite. I would enjoy it more but it's a bit pricey at almost $12 for 4.

Thank you very much. My daughter and her boyfriend are heading up that way later this fall. I'm going to have them pick me up a 6 of Centennial. That sounds good.

Went to the open house at a new brewery in Louisville last night, Against the Grain. It just opened in the former Browning's location inside Louisville Slugger Field on Main Street. All three beers I had were very good but I HIGHLY recommend the Ledersmoken, a smoked-malt marzen-style beer. Unbelievable. The grand opening will take place this Tuesday night, October 4. Louisvillians, go forth and drink.

Agreed. Had it for the first time tonight. I'm not a big bourbon guy but this was excellent.

Call for sure, as I'm likely not to be at home.

Went to Hammerhead's tonight and had a Southern Tier Pumpking Ale on tap. My favorite pumpkin beer.

Finished a Spaten Oktoberfest about 15 minutes ago. Had a Samuel Adams Octoberfest earlier this evening. As a huge fan of the marzen-style beers, this is a great time of year for me.

I've tried for several years now to get into a pumpkin beer and haven't found one I like, but I don't think I've had this one. Can you find it at a place like Liquor Barn in a six-pack?

I would think so but I've honestly not looked this year. I do know from NuLu Fest that The Beer Store has it.
