nWo thanks so much for posting. Growing up in Morgan Co and living there for 40 years, it is heartbreaking to see the town in rubble and so many childhood memories destroyed. Aslo the area of Woodsbend and Blackwater Creek were hit hard. Their were 3 death from Blackwater. These area are out in the county and not shown on the map.

That last video was unreal. Hard to type this as my emotions are getting the best of me. This community has lost thier whole town. The latest report I have gotten is 7 dead, several more missing and lots of injuries. In the video it talked about hitting at the hospital, my uncle lived right across from the hospital. His house is destroyed, but thank God they are OK.

Unbelievable!
So much for the "conventional wisdom" that tornadoes don't hit hills and valleys. They go where they darn well want to go.

Here is a video of a teacher I used to teach with in Morgan Co. It picked up her house and put in in the hospital parking lot across the street. This house is right next door to my uncles who also lost his house.

Schools in Magoffin, Morgan and Wolfe counties sustained severe damage.
Work crews in West Liberty were busy Wednesday, rushing to fabricate classrooms in an empty factory building so students from heavily damaged West Liberty Elementary would have a place to attend classes.
West Liberty Elementary and the central offices of Morgan County Schools were so badly damaged that both have been condemned, district spokeswoman Jennifer Salyer said Wednesday. The district's football field, bleachers, locker rooms and press box were destroyed.
Salyer said the plan is for West Liberty Elementary students and the district offices to move into the former Boneal factory building so that classes may resume Monday
