Senior posters. Parents put a poster up in the stadium, for each senior with pictures and other adornments highlighting their football careers. Some are very creative. Also done for cheerleaders.

My senior year (I don't think it was on senior night) I got a banner with a jersey on it. The jersey had my number and my name on it...Also got my jersey and my helmet.

I'm talking about the football game not the banquet.

Our Seniors all got banners with their Senior season football photo on it as well as their name. These were all hung like flags on poles across the front of the bleachers and the parents got them after the game.

Our seniors get their "stadium" flag, homemade flag with their name and number on that hangs and travels to all their games. This is handed out at the year end banquet.

I'm not sure we got anything the day of the game. My senior year in HS was around 4 years ago...and I can't remember yesterday. So I guess I'm no help .

North Laurel used to have one of the coolest senior nights. Each senior rode out on the back of a Harley, with a flag with their photo and took a couple of laps around the track. After this, they meet their parents and the PA plays comments they made beforehand (eg. favorite memory, who they want to thank, etc). Ask NWO, it was pretty awesome. They didn't do it this season and hope they bring it back next year. This year's was pretty neat with a tent and each had a theme song they played as they came out and then they played their comments.

Thanks Halfback20, I appreciate the effort. I understand about remembering what happens the day before. I just want these guys to have a great night for all the work they have put into football the last 4 years and many years before high school.

I like the personal hand written letter from partent's to their senior player telling them what they mean to their parent's and how great it has been to watch them participate in the football program. The letter come's from the heart and it really builds the emotion in the senior player. It really is a good motivator. Good Luck in whatever you do and it will be appreciative. JD

Franklin County has a senior night dinner on thursday before senior night, Coach Ledford has started this there. The dinner is nice and catered. The Dinner is just for senior players, managers, and parents along with the coaches. the theme is to honor all seniors. After dinner and pictures the coach introduces each player and discusses his favorite memories and best things about each player, the player then share some of thier experience with all guests it is a nice event and I suggest it to anyone who wants to do something nice for thier seniors.

Senior night at the game for my son was each Senior had a hoop to run through. It had a drawn picture of them and their name around the outside. All the seniors ran through all at one time. Very impressive looking.

MOM55 yes and stickymitts yes you are right and old Red Dog trick. I was totally moved by some of the player's letter's and teared up myself. This has been done by several of Red Dog's coaches and I loved it. Let me know how it works it will be emotional. JD
