Insensitive comments but hardly breaking new ground here. Jokes almost always come at the expense of someone or some group who have done nothing to earn ridicule. Ever told a "black joke?" Polish joke? Ever said "red-headed stepchild?" Gay jokes?
Almost all jokes are insensitive.

True but it's not unprecedented. "Jim Jones" or "drink the kool-aid" jokes have been around for a long time.
We all have lines that we draw and I'd argue many are inconsistent.

Very inconsistent but way too early for anything like that. For me there is no time for a joke like that about this one.

Why does it matter? She is a stupid broad who probably twirls bubble gum on a daily basis. Her IQ probably doesnt hit triple digits as well.
I have a major problem with someone saying something like this less than a week after a mass murder. Just stupid.

So how many are more offended by the timing than the actual joke?

I'm more peeved that she did it to thrust herself (no pun intended) into the spotlight. Any publicity is good publicity I suppose for someone in her arena.

Agree on the fully self-serving aspect.
