I just finished moving yesterday. It was a grueling 3 day process using an SUV and only 1 roommate to help move 4 people's items. We went from a fairly nice apartment complex that was really expensive to a much cheaper, much nicer, much larger home off of Polo Club Blvd. The extra drive to class will be well worth it. I'm excited to see what it looks like once everything is unpacked and set up the way we want it.

Also, my dog finally had a yard! I'm sure he'll love it when I bring him back to Lex this weekend.

It used to be. It seems some of their late night customers were a rough crowd causing problems so they decided to end the 24/7 and close at midnight.

DUH....next you'll tell us that the late night White Castle patrons may have been drinking.

I refuse to help people move. I hired folks when I moved 18 years ago. I have a truck and a Trailer so I get the call all of the time. I used to be OK letting them take the truck until a niece borrowed it and would not let me use her car for the day! She had a new car that was worth less than my truck at the time, but didn't want anyone touching her 'baby'. I've since upgraded my truck to a brand new one and really don't want folks hauling their crap in it.
That being said, my in laws are in the process of cleaning out the mother in laws house. 50 years worth of crap that they need to dump. The one brother dials me up to help. Hard to say no. I go down and proceed to fill a big trailer full of garbage. As we are doing so, the oldest sister comes in telling us not to throw away half the crap because "someone may want it" or it would be worthy of going to good will. I just started piles for each family for them to review. They had their chance for me to haul it away, good luck getting me down there again. One sister has a huge amount of crap stored there. She will have a lot of fun moving that in her Honda.
By the way, the next day my sinuses were an absolute train wreck. Dusty, moldy basement. Not good!

Thanks for letting me rant, I feel so much better now.
    Have a nice day.

I am strange, but I enjoy helping others move. At least the larger things. I refuse to package up plates or pick up the little things, but moving around boxes and furniture I will do all day long.

That's exactly the approach I took with my girlfriend last weekend. I sat on the couch while they boxed everything up. Then when we got the truck for the big stuff, I went to work.

The report I read was the Bashford Manor Wally World was having quite a bit more shop lifting than a typical one and cutting off late hours helped quite a bit. Again, that was just one report I saw.
