      I only have Halo 3...so I can't tell you which to buy. I love Halo 3 but have heard nothing but good things about COD4. You can't go wrong here.

      I'm getting COD4 by Xmas though.

      I've never seen a more intense game then Call of Duty 4.

      Depends on what you like. Both games a similiar to their previous versions. Call of duty 4 is modern weapons weapons in modern settings. Halo is a contiuation of the previous ones with some new weapons. Both have excellent graphics and really good flow of action. I like Call of Duty better, but I'm older. I find that most younger people like Halo.

      If your really into online play then I'd suggest Halo 3. However COD 4 looks pretty incredible, which would lead me to believe that COD would have a slight edge if your looking to endeavor in 'story mode.'
