Wrote my 1st song ever yesterday. Just hit me out of nowhere. Disregard the bad singing I just learned to sing+play this year. Figured with High School Friday nights right around the corner a lot in the football forum would be able to relate.
Well I was born in a little small town my old KY home. Where parents all taught their children the difference between right and wrong.
Lived for the Friday nights when our town it came to life. When our beloved boys took the field for another big gridiron fight.
We all dreamed that'd be us out their one day. Giving high fiving to the little kids that came to watch us play.
Now we're all chasing our dreams. Those days are all memories. We'll never forget those lessons we learned. On Friday nights…….when we went from boys to men.
Now it's our turn to show what we have learned. From those that battled before us for the glory they earned.
Electrics flowing through my blood and I'm ready for a fight. Other team rolled in our house to hurt my brother by my side.
Crowd is going wild as we make history once again. We leave the field giving high fives to the next generation.
Now we're all chasing our dreams. Those days are all memories. We'll never forget those lessons we learned. On Friday nights………when we went from boys to men.
I'm fighting back the tears watching the best gift I've been given. See my son he makes my whole life worth liven.
It's now his turn he's carrying the whole town on his back. Silence pours over the crowd like they had witnessed a heart attack.
Time it runs out as he crosses the goal line. The little kids are jumping all around throwing up high fives!
Now he's out living is dreams. He's making his own memories. He'll never forget those lessons he learned. On Friday nights…………when we went from boys to me.
I really enjoyed that, thanks!
That was great. thank you for posting that. I feel the same waching my son as well making his memories.
