Default 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' Replaces Bible In UK Hotel

Gideon Bible removed from rooms & replaced with the highly successful novel by E.L. James. Hotel manager claims that "the Bible is full of references to sex and violence, although it's written using more formal language, so James's book is easier to read."

At least it isn't being replaced with Quran or "It Takes a Village". That would really tick people off.

In all seriousness, this is one of the strangest things I've ever heard.

It is their business and they should put whatever book they want to in the rooms. If people don't like it and they lose customers because of it, they will change back. Or change to another book.

Agree that it is their right to do what they choose. Like Papa, I thought it was a strange story.

I've always wondered how many people pull out the Bible while at a hotel.
