Default Favorite Episodes of All in The Family.

There are several but, the one I like is when Mike and Gloria split, Archie and Mike end up sleeping in the same bed, Mike pours some water and accidently spills in bed next to Archie. The look on his face was priceless. Archie rolls over feels around and says:

Archie: "You got in bed with me to do this here."

    Mike: "It was an accident."

Archie: "With little Joey it would be an accident, with you it would be a dishonerable discharge."
    LOL great stuff.

We tried not to miss an episode of AITF. My favorites/most memorable:

    Sammy Davis, Jr. kiss.
Archie and Meathead trapped in the locker or freezer or whatever it was.
Gloria brings Meathead home for the first time.
    Edith gets attacked.
Meathead wants Gloria to wear the dark wig.

Another episode is when Edith goes thru Menopause.

Archie: "I know about your women's troubles there Edith, but when I went through the hernia operation I didn't make you wear the truss."

Sammy episode was great as was the one when Edith passed away. I loved the ones when Maude came to visit and put Archie in his place.

Maybe I'm recalling this wrong, but wasn't there an episode where Archie needed a pint of blood and it ended up that Lionel was the donor? Or am I mixing that up?

I know it was a black guy and I think you're right about it being Lionel. There was another one where Archie accidently joined up with a KKK type organization and at the end warned them about watching out for him and his "brothers" or "people". Carrol O'Conner really did a job with that character as he was liberal in his personal beliefs.

Last summer the show was on for a while and my kids and I really enjoyed watching it together.

This is the episode I thought of as well because it's when Edith finally told Archie to stifle.
